It is often difficult to get the crust and filling of a homemade version to set and hold together properly. But the Sara Lee pie is perfect every time.
2.) The pie comes covered in a plastic dome, which keeps it looking nice during transport and makes it easy to store left-over portions.
3.) The pie has a graham cracker crust, lime chiffon-type filling, and a whipped topping ring on top.
4.) You can defrost the entire pie if it will be consumed within a few days. Or you can slice it while frozen and then defrost the individual pieces as desired.
